Worth knowing before you arrive

About House of Hargrave

House of Hargrave is a family owned vineyard sitting about 270 metres up in the hills behind Devonport, with the cellar door looking north over the coast and Bass Strait. The wines are small batch and the kitchen does local cheese and meat platters rather than a full menu. Seating is outdoors, which is the whole reason it works with a dog, and water bowls are put out for them. It is an easy detour off the run between the Spirit of Tasmania terminal and Cradle Mountain.
